We charge tax in all states where we have a showroom or where we offer M&I services. We currently collect sales tax on product in the following states (*indicates that we charge tax on install as well): California, New York*, Texas*, Illinois*, Florida*, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey*, Massachusetts, Washington*, Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania*, Virginia, North Carolina*, District of Columbia, Ohio*, Nevada, Maryland, Michigan*, Minnesota*, South Carolina, Utah*, Missouri, Louisiana, Wisconsin*, Tennessee*, Indiana, Oklahoma.
All products carry a limited lifetime warranty. We will repair or replace any product due to workroom error so long as the product is not misused and abused. Replacement must be for the same window as the original order.
If you receive something that you don’t like, we will do everything possible to rectify the issue. For starters, we will remake or repair the product to your liking. If you simply feel you selected the wrong product or material, we will let you choose something else and give you 40% off the new product (offer valid for 30 days after your installation). Bottom line, it is our mission to satisfy each and every customer and we will do whatever is necessary to accomplish that goal.
Yes. All components are included as well as step by step instructions. You can call us to walk you through the process or you can sign up for one of our professionals to install your treatment for you.
We’ve taken our 70 years of industry know-how and simplified all aspects of the process. It’s simple! If you are handy with a drill it will be no problem. Otherwise, please contact us for help, or we can arrange a professional to come to your home for you.
Because every product is custom made and because we have such aggressive lead times – production begins as soon as you place your order. Therefore, we are required to charge your credit card as soon as you place your order.

Minimal care and cleaning is needed to maintain the beauty of your treatment. Clean with a low suction, hand held vacuum or dust with a soft, clean cloth or feather duster. Never immerse your treatment in liquid of any type. Contact help@theshadestore.com if you have questions regarding how to clean your treatment.
