“Every space is so different, but I tend to gravitate towards quality materials with subtle natural textures. Materials that are timeless and translucent allowing for optimal natural light.”
On a weekend away from New York City in 2015, founder Anthony D’Argenzio was strolling the fringes of Hudson when he came upon a fixer-upper with gorgeous, century-old bones. The plan was for the property to be a weekend project. But the more time he spent in the bustling little town along the river, the more he realized: This was home. In the years since, D’Argenzio, the creative force behind Zio and Sons, has launched a collection of getaways for those seeking a place to unwind in the heart of the Hudson Valley. In 2019, the original AirBnB was joined by This Old Hudson Residences: four impeccably rehabilitated long term rentals that balance Old World elegance with state of the art amenities. Following the launch of This Old Hudson Maison in summer 2020, guests are able to shop their surroundings and leave with a piece of D’Argenzio’s celebrated aesthetic.
