Sweepstakes Terms And Conditions
OFFICIAL SPONSOR
The Shade Store & The Container Store Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is officially sponsored by The Shade Store, LLC located at 21 Abendroth Avenue, Port Chester, NY 10573. The official start date of the Sweepstakes is October 22nd, 2019 at 9:00pm.
SWEEPSTAKES SUBMISSION
- One unique, valid email address per household is eligible.
- Submission must be completed before 11:59 PM EST on November 6, 2019. The Shade Store's website is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
- Must be 18 years and older
- Must be U.S. resident
- Employees, contractors of The Shade Store or The Container Store and their families are not eligible
- This Sweepstakes is void in Rhode Island and where prohibited by law
- No Purchase Necessary
Within three (3) business days from the end of the sweepstakes, one (1) email address will be selected at random by computer technology and designated the sweepstakes winner.
SWEEPSTAKES WINNER
The Shade Store will inform the winner via email no later than November 11, 2019; the winner must accept the prize no later than November 18, 2019.
SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE
$2500 to The Shade Store
The Shade Store will work with the winner to put his/her window treatment order together. The winner can choose any products and materials for sale on theshadestore.com for his/her project.
The product price will be based on the full retail value of the selected window treatments. Sales promotions, trade discounts, or gift cards cannot be applied to this order. Shipping will be standard ground shipping and free of charge.
The Shade Store will cover up to $2500 in products and optional professional installation fees. Any amount over $2500 is the sole responsibility of the sweepstakes winner.
The winner must place his/her order by November 11, 2020, or this offer will expire. Only one order may be placed by the winner as a part of the $2,500 prize. If the total amount of the order, inclusive of taxes and any professional installation fees, is less than $2500, the difference will be voided and not allowed to be carried over to any future orders. Any amount over $2500 must be paid by the winner at the time the order is placed. The winner is also responsible for any taxes due at the time of purchase.
The order must be used for one household and is not transferable.
$2500 to The Container Store
The winner will be notified by a representative from The Shade Store. A representative from The Container Store will follow up with the winner and will receive gifts cards collectively totaling twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) (“Gift Cards”). The Gift Cards are redeemable for future purchases in any of The Container Store retail locations (excluding Rhode Island) or online at containerstore.com for merchandise or installation only. Installation available in limited areas where The Container Store has a retail location. The Gift Cards are subject to terms listed on its back of each card, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash (excepted where required by law). The Container Store makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prizes awarded.
EXCLUSIONS
The following options are not included in The Shade Store's $2500 prize:
- Special Customizations—any product options outside of those available on theshadestore.com are not eligible. The winner must choose from in-stock material collections.
- Customer's Own Material (COM)—any material outside of those available on theshadestore.com are not eligible. The winner must choose from in-stock material collections.
- Rush Shipping—shipping will be provided free of charge via standard ground shipping
The following options are not included in The Container Store's $2500 prize:
- Cannot be used on Contained Home® services; or in conjunction with any additional promotions, including but not limited to free shipping.
MAIL IN ENTRY OPTION
You may alternatively submit a mail-in entry via U.S. Mail during the Promotion Period as follows:
- Print your name, date of birth, complete address, phone number (including area code) either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches; and
- Mail the postcard or paper in an envelope with the proper postage affixed to: The Shade Store, Attention: "Sweepstakes Entry"; 21 Abendroth Avenue, Port Chester, NY 10573 Limit one (1) entry per household. Mail-in entries must be received by November 6, 2019.
- The information provided through the Mail-in option will only be used for the administration of the Sweepstakes

By entering your email address for the sweepstakes, you are opting in to receive marketing emails from The Shade Store, and agree to enroll in The Container Store's POP! Perfectly Organized Perks Program by accepting its Terms. You may unsubscribe from receiving these emails at any time. Your email address will not be shared with any other party other than The Shade Store and The Container Store, or sold.

WINNER LIST
For a winner list, where required by law, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope no later than ninety (90) days after the end date of The Shade Store & The Container Store Sweepstakes to: 21 Abendroth Avenue, Port Chester, NY 10573.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants release and hold harmless The Shade Store and The Container Store, their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, respective subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this promotion or acceptance or use of any prize won.
