GIFT OF SHADE

The Shade Store's commitment to the environment is far-reaching, from our state-of-the-art U.S. workrooms to our custom products each individually crafted from the most eco-friendly, sustainable materials available. The Shade Store has teamed up with The Arbor Day Foundation on our Shades of Green Program to further our positive environmental impact. This year, a tree will be planted in one of our national forests for every order that's placed. We've committed to helping the foundation plant 25,000 trees this year.

GREEN PROJECTS

The Shade Store is proud to be a part of Dwell Magazine's Harlem Renovation Project. This 10-part documentary features one couple's journey through the trials and tribulations of renovating a brownstone into a modern, sustainable home. The goal of the series is to capture in an entertaining, real-time fashion the human drama of an urban, eco-friendly architecture and design project while providing practical insights for Design Seekers contemplating their own renovations. The Shade Store is a proud partner of this project and donated all window treatments shown.
