Lead times are based on the product ordered and are estimates that begin counting the business day after an order has been placed. Delays may occur due to the size, nature or complexity of the order, or if a material is on backorder. We will notify if you if any of the above situations occur. Once your order ships, we will email your tracking number. While we make every effort to avoid delays in production, they do occasionally occur and are not considered grounds for cancellation. The below lead times are business days.

Each product is custom made and will ship to you as soon as it's finished. Therefore, you may receive multiple shipments depending on the nature of your order. Multiple items of the same product will ship together.

We're pleased to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders within the contiguous United States, including oversized product shipments. Shipments for products greater than 100" wide cannot be shipped outside the contiguous U.S.
A surcharge will be applied for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. To calculate surcharge fees, add 15% of merchandise total ($125 minimum).
Duties and taxes are not included when shipping to Canada and are the responsibility of the customer.
Because The Shade Store has our showrooms in the states of New York, California and Florida, we are required by law to collect sales tax whenever shipping to New York, California or Florida.
If a repair is ever needed, contact our Help Desk (help@theshadestore.com or 800.754.1455, option 2) and they will email you a return label that you simply need to print and put on the outside of the box for return.
All samples and catalogs within the contiguous U.S. ship FREE via USPS Priority Mail. This is the fastest, most reliable service and takes just 1-3 days anywhere in the country. $10 surcharge applies to shipping outside the contiguous U.S.
