David’s interiors gracefully meld the timeless elegance of the past with today’s modern life. His interiors are a thoughtful mix of comfort and chic, where practical architecture, luxurious furnishings, and emerging art and craft harmoniously coexist. For the Kips Bay Decorator Show house in Palm Beach, David designed a dining room with a specific purpose – entertainment and celebration! Window treatments add both an aesthetic softness and assist with the acoustical qualities of a dining experience. The classically arched windows are veiled with a layer of sheer panels paired with tailored drapery mounted on a polished brass rod with rings. The traditional pinch pleat detailing is given a contemporary twist with a contrasting crisp white applique at the top and bottom of each panel that references the bold architectural trim that David added to the room.
