Recently we’ve come to explore some creative ways to use window treatments. Today, we stumble upon truth windows, openings in a wall’s surface, created to reveal the layers or components within the wall. Their primary use is to show what the structure is actually made from – typically used in strawbale houses. Truth windows were designed to show the structural method used for insulating the house from harsh winters, and they also help allow the structure to breathe, controlling humidity and temperature while continuously purifying the air within the space. Bottom line – we see these as very classic, meaningful, and eco-friendly accents to an interior space.
