Last year, we came to learn of the imaginative site-specific work of Los Angeles-based artist, Megan Geckler. Geckler creates one-of-a-kind (custom, if you will) installations using flagging tape – a plastic ribbon typically used by construction workers. Her exhibit, “Every step you take, every move you make” was on display at the The Pasadena Museum of California Art last year. And she’s kept very busy!

- VIDEO: Seeing Thoughts in Repeat
The above linked video – complete with the fitting tune, “Deadbeat Summer” by Neon Indian – shows how Megan’s work gets installed, and truly inspired this post in general. It’s production and sound remind us of the likes of OK GO.
For our Los Angeles based friends, you’re lucky. You can check out her latest work, “Seeing thoughts in repeat,” first-hand at Urban Outfitters at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood, just 5 miles away from our newest showroom – opening soon!
