Simply stated, Altitude Design Summit 2011 was awesome. Dare we say one of the best new media events of the year? Industry bloggers, media, and creatives gathered for a four-day pow-wow in Salt Lake City to discuss design and how it is communicated online. Friends were made, reunions were had, and design — well, this week it was certainly at its peak.
We are feeling inspired by a gallery of iconic prints including the popular N600 automobile and a mid-seventies CVCC Wagon by American Honda Motor Company. AHMC graphics were spotlighted to promote the new So-Cal-made clothing collection of denim shop shirts, a 60s-style café leather race jacket, and branded wind breakers. Vintage logos borrowed from the early 50s through the 80s have been applied to apparel for a bit of old school cool.
Available at select retailers this Spring, pieces will officially launch at an exclusive event in downtown Los Angeles on February 3, 2011.
