Designer Michelle Young of Michelle D. Young Interior Design balanced traditional elegance and modern accents in this incredible Paradise Valley home. The Arizona estate sits at the bottom of the idyllic Phoenix Mountains Reserve. The spectacular views, impressive grounds, and open-concept interior make for one truly remarkable project!
The black-framed windows add a subtle, industrial touch to the stucco exterior of the home, creating a contemporary feel. The wide walkway to the home is lined with luscious greenery, nodding to the natural beauty of Arizona.
The interior of the home contains a bright, neutral palette throughout. Highlights of the kitchen feature a large breakfast bar island, built-in cabinetry and a modern light fixture.
There are many common living spaces in the home, both indoor and outdoor. Our Ripple Fold Drapery in Linen Blend Natural frames all of the windows, allowing the scenic views to remain a focal point.
The bedrooms in the house are of generous size. Their warm accents create inviting and comfortable spaces. Michelle chose our Roman Shades in Linen Blend Natural for these rooms. The addition of a blackout lining to the shades allows for high light blockage, which is a great option for bedrooms.
One of the most jaw-dropping rooms in the house is the master bathroom. It’s complete with a claw foot tub, a large, free-standing shower, his and her vanities, and an adjacent patio. Michele selected Drapery for the French doors, heightening the room’s elegance factor.
The grounds of the house are just as impressive as the home’s interior. Complete with a state-of-the-art pool, putting green, lush landscaping, and plenty of seating, it’s the perfect space for hosting!
