LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
The manufacturer provides a limited lifetime Warranty (the “Warranty”) that the manufacturer’s products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. If your product is defective during the warranty period, the manufacturer, at its sole option, will repair or replace the defective product. The Warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. The Warranty applies only to custom-made products in the original windows for which the product was ordered and intended.
The Warranty does not cover defects that result from abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, or failure to follow use and care instructions. Examples of normal wear and tear include, but are not limited to: loss of color intensity, exposure to salt air, damage from insects or pets, or normal fading from sunlight. The loss of pleating is not covered if the product is not being cycled (held in the raised position for an appreciable portion of the time).
The Warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation in the same or any other window or application.
Custom-made products are manufactured in accordance with the measurements and specifications submitted to The Shade Store, LLC by the customer. The customer is solely responsible for submitting the correct measurements and specifications and for the assembly and installation of the product. The Warranty does not cover products unusable by reason of miss-measurement or assembly or installation not in accordance with the instructions provided by The Shade Store, LLC.

When contacting Customer Service to request warranty repair or replacement, please be prepared to provide include your name, address, a description of the problem, the date of purchase, and the date and conditions under which the problem occurred. When shipping the product to Customer Service, include: an original bill or sale or receipt to verify the original date of purchase; your name; address; a description of the problem; and the date and conditions under which the problem occurred. The customer is responsible for all return freight charges. Following receipt of the product, Customer Service will forward the claim and product to the manufacturer and attempt to arrange for warranty repair or replacement as quickly as reasonably possible.
Note that Wood Blinds and Woven Wood Shades are natural products. As such, the following are excluded from the Warranty with respect to all Wood Blinds and Woven Wood Shades: variations in color, grain or texture or warping or splitting of wood slats in high humidity or excessively dry or high heat locations. Further, the Warranty does not cover Wood Blinds 72” or greater, unless the customer selects them to be made as 2 blinds on 1 headrail.
Colors and textures may vary slightly from lot to lot on some styles, and The Shade Store, LLC periodically discontinues certain styles and colors. The Shade Store, LLC reserves the right to substitute discontinued warranted products with the nearest color and/or style of product that is of equivalent or greater value.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS EXTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE SHADE STORE, LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE SHADE STORE, LLC, SHALL THE SHADE STORE, LLC, BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUSING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS), DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS HOWEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER ARISING UNDER CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY OR WHETHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE PERFORMANCE OR BREACH THEREOF OR THE PERFORMANCE OR FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT OR DELAY OF THE SHADE STORE, LLC IN THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF THE SHADE STORE, LLC, LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF. THE SHADE STORE, LLC’S LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER AND/OR ANY THIRD PARTY HEREUNDER, IF ANY, SHALL, IRRESPECTIVE OF NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE SHADE STORE, LLC, IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT THE CUSTOMER PAID TO THE SHADE STORE, LLC, FOR THE PRODUCT.
COLORS AND TEXTURES
The Shade Store, LLC attempts to assure that the display of the colors and textures of our products that appear on the Site as accurate as reasonably possible. However, as the actual colors and textures you see will depend on your monitor and printer, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be 100% accurate. In addition, fabrics and materials tend to have dye lot inconsistencies which could also alter the appearance of a color. For wood materials (wood blinds and woven wood shades), please note that its natural composition may cause slight warping and/or fading over time as well as, variations in color and grain - all of which are considered normal characteristics. The Shade Store, LLC and the manufacturers of our products expressly reserve the right to alter, change or amend the products sold on the Site.

From time to time, The Shade Store may offer different sales and/or promotions. Please know, promotions cannot be combined with other promos or sales, and any exclusive promotion can only be used by the recipient of the exclusive promotion.
