Maharam is a fourth generation family-run business renowned for being a pioneer in the textile industry.  Maharam's textile collections draw inspiration from 20th century design visionaries to avant-garde industry outsiders.  The Maharam Design Studio has collaborated with many celebrated designers to develop signature textiles including a series from Paul Smith, one of the most successful fashion designers in British history; the reinterpretation of the Dot Pattern by Charles and Ray Eames, American husband-and-wife modern design team; original designs from Alexander Girard, one of the 20th century's most influential modernist designers and architects and Verner Panton, a renowned 20th century furniture and textile designer.
