SHIPPING DAYS
All products generally ship within 4-10 business days. Shipping dates provided are estimates that begin counting the business day after an order has been placed. Delays may occur due to the size, nature or complexity of the order, or if a material is on backorder. We will notify if you if any of the above situations occur and email you your tracking number once the product has shipped. While we make every effort to avoid delays in production, they do occasionally occur and are not considered grounds for cancellation.
MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Each product is custom made and will ship to you as soon as it’s finished. Therefore, you may receive multiple shipments depending on the nature of your order. Multiple items of the same product will ship together.
SHIPPING METHODS
We offer 2 methods for shipping:
> standard (generally 1-7 business days depending on location)
> rush (generally 1-3 business days depending on location)
*For rush shipping, add 10% of merchandise total to standard fees ($75 minimum).
please note: all standard sized products will ship either via UPS or Fed Ex. Oversized products may ship via freight courier.
OVERSIZED PRODUCTS
Products greater than 96" wide are considered oversized. $65 surcharge applies per product group. Rush shipping is not available.
SHIPPING OUTSIDE CONTINENTAL U.S.
We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. Shipping charges: 15% of merchandise total ($75 minimum). Sample orders cost $25 to ship, and will be sent via UPS Ground.
Please note: oversized products (greater than 96" wide) are not covered under warranty when shipping to these locations. Rush shipping is only available by special request. Duties and taxes are not included when shipping to Canada.
SHIPPING PROMOTIONS
From time to time, The Shade Store may run a 'free shipping' promotion.
Please know, free shipping does not apply to the following:
> rush shipping method (promotion only applies to standard shipping)
> oversized product surcharge (free standard shipping will still apply, but the $65 oversized fee cannot be waived)
> outside the continental U.S. does not apply (Hawaii, Alaska, and any other territories)
> hardware and cornices (free shipping does not apply to these products)
SALES TAX
Because The Shade Store has our showrooms in the states of New York and California, we are required by law to collect sales tax whenever shipping to New York or California.
