Our Solar Shades come in a selection of openness levels – 3% is the densest and 10% is the sheerest. The openness level translates into the percentage of light that is allowed to pass through. A lower openness level increases UV blockage, but the outside view will not be as clear. The higher openness level creates a better view, but decreases UV blockage. As an example, Solar Shades with 10% openness level diffuse light glare & harmful UV rays by 90% while providing for a soft screened view.
