We’ve had a busy week here at The Shade Store. We launched our second Facebook contest—some lucky winner +1 will be arriving in New York next month for all the Design Week and ICFF® fun! We can’t wait to show them around our fine city and take great pictures along the way. And with that launch, we’ve made some unbelievable customer connections this week. The feedback we’ve been receiving has been remarkable. We love our customers!
We also launched an additional sale this week: All Drapery and Hardware is 10% off until May 12th. Get your layers on, and add some height and depth to those windows! And don’t forget, all Chilewich Roller Shades and Vertical Systems are on sale 15% off until the end of April.
To round out the week, we had a nice lunch with our friends at Dwell Magazine. We picked Aurora, a quaint Soho spot known for its delicious Italian fare.

The interior was incredibly comfortable, despite its narrow and rustic space. We shared a pizzetta, and delighted in their hard-to-decide-from lunch menu. And we did not skimp on dessert. We’re still full.
