Smart architecture and affecting art installations put New York City’s The New Museum at the top of our list.

Still musing over Elizabeth Peyton’s 2009 “Live Forever” exhibit which included modernist style works of pop culture icons such as Liam Gallagher and Marc Jacobs, much of the intrigue from our last visit centered around Voice and Wind by Haegue Yang, an exhibit created from colorful Venetian blinds which alters spatial boundaries and stimulates the senses through scent atomizers, light, and electric fans.

Sunday is your last chance to experience this exhibit. Make it a date and don’t forget to let us know what exhibits in your city we should know and love.

The New Museum is located at 235 Bowery, New York, NY 10002
